Élias Khoury
Dr. Elias Khoury, based in Paris, is a leading figure in the field of oral implantology and bone reconstruction.
Founder and board member of the scientific society KCF and engaged with Knowledge Care Formation in Paris, he has made a significant contribution to the field.
Since 2010, he has been a lecturer in the post-graduation programs of the universities of EVRY and CRETEIL and has led numerous private training courses in implantology. His expertise is recognized nationally and internationally, as evidenced by his participation as a speaker or president at various conferences.
Dr. Khoury has played a key role in the design and training of the KONTACT Implant System with Biotech DENTAL since 2009 and was a training facilitator on the Ankylos System with Friadent from 2005 to 2008. His academic roles include membership in the French Association of Implantology AFI, lecturer at the Tatum Institute of Implantology in England from 1999 to 2007, and at French College of Clinical Surgery in Paris from 2003 to 2004.
Fellow and Diplomat of the ICOI, he also holds a master's degree in Biological Engineering - biomaterials option from Paris XIII. He taught in the post-graduation program in implantology at the University of Nantes from 1995 to 1998 and co-organized the post-graduation program in Oral Rehabilitation using Implants and Biomaterials at the University of Nantes in 1995. Additionally, he taught in the post-graduation program in implantology and bone reconstruction at the Lille School of Medicine from 1992 to 1994.
Dr. Khoury has contributed to numerous publications on biomaterials and bone augmentation techniques. His educational background includes a specialization diploma in Implantology, Maxillary and Mandibular Bone Reconstruction from the Faculty of Medicine of Lille II in 1989, and a diploma in Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Dental Surgery of Nantes in 1983. His career reflects a deep commitment to advance dental surgery and implantology through education, innovation and research.
Sami Mouwakdie
DCD, DUP, DUID, Ms, MBA
After his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, he pursued a series of specialties. Thus, he has a DU in Periodontology from the Pierre and Marie Curie University, a DU in Implantology from the University of Lille II and a Master in Biological Engineering with an option in Biomaterials from the University of Paris XIII.
In parallel with his years of teaching at the Lebanese University (UL) as an Associate Professor, he obtained an MBA from ESCP-Paris which allowed him to occupy several managerial and academic positions. He created the quality unit and launched the accreditation project of the Faculty of Dental Medicine (UL). In addition, he set up post-graduate training in dental center management.
He has held several positions within the Department of Periodontology. He was responsible for the Diploma of Higher Studies in Periodontology, set the foundations and curriculum for the Master in Periodontology and was the head of the periodontology department at UL until 2020.
He managed a dental center in Loiret for three years until 2023. Since then, he has established himself as a consultant supporting the management of dental centers, their performance and their profitability.
